Lise Redfern

Lise Redfern is the CEO of Arven, Norway’s oldest and largest gold and silver manufacturer. Although London-born, she thinks of herself as a true “Bergenser,” a Norwegian from Bergen. After completing a MSc degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration, she has held a number of senior management positions in both Norwegian and international companies in various industries. However, the fascination for gold and silver products has been with her since her studying days, when she worked part time in a silversmithing business, managing their local store in Bergen.  

Lise is a people lover and couldn’t be happier than when she welcomes guests and customers to Arven’s unique facility, placed right behind the Hanseatic houses in downtown Bergen. It gives her true pleasure to introduce Viking guests to the fascinating story of Bergen as a silver city and the colorful 150 year-long history of the company.
