Guide & Co-Founder | Petra Gaïa Guides
France

Perrine Guyot is a French art historian, national guide and lecturer based in the Beaujolais region of France. As co-founder of Petra Gaïa Guides, she designs immersive, offbeat experiences that bring together art, heritage and the natural landscape. Her tours often combine storytelling, tastings and cultural discovery, revealing the deep connections between people, place and history.

Having worked as a professional guide for over a decade, Perrine’s expertise spans Beaujolais des Crus, Avenas and the Pierres Dorées area. Trained by the Beaujolais UNESCO Global Geopark, she brings a unique perspective and passion to her guided walks—ranging from sunrise breakfasts on Mont Brouilly to treasure hunts exploring local legends and female figures who shaped the region. Her approach is lively, inclusive and deeply rooted in the spirit of discovery.

A favorite stop on her routes is the 12th-century altar at Avenas, a striking reminder of historic ties to Cluny Abbey. Through Petra Gaïa, Perrine celebrates Beaujolais as both a living landscape and a cultural tapestry waiting to be explored.
