Georgie Aitken is a British art expert and authenticator specializing in antiquities and fine art. Based in the United Kingdom, she has nearly two decades of experience in the international art market, having held senior positions at prestigious auction houses including Christie’s and Bonhams before founding her own company, Five Bays Ltd. Georgie is also a Treasure Valuer for the British Museum, advising on important finds for the Department of Portable Antiquities & Treasure. 

Her expertise spans valuation, authentication and provenance research, and she works closely with private collectors, institutions and museums around the world. Georgie is also known for her familial connection to Highclere Castle—her sister, Lady Carnarvon, is the Countess of Carnarvon and Chatelaine of the estate.
