Beth Foggin, PhD, received her doctorate in applied social sciences at the Université de Montréal, with her research examining the travel experiences of people with reduced physical abilities. She later developed and taught a regional course on the Pacific as a sessional lecturer at her alma mater. Now, based in British Columbia, Canada, she is an independent consultant and educator.
