The Academy of St Martin in the Fields is one of the world’s most celebrated chamber orchestras, renowned for its polished, refined sound and pioneering spirit. The orchestra’s name was inspired by St Martin-in-the-Fields Church in Trafalgar Square, London, where it gave its first performance.
