Very useful app and gives you all the upto date information on your own excursions and others as well.
The restaurant guide is very easy to use and lets you book a reservation in the bookable restaurants although we have found that they are always fully booked!
Great onboard app
We found this app really useful! It shows all the menus for all restaurants - helpful in deciding whether to go to The Restaurant or The World Cafe. The deck plans were also very helpful. The Daily list of all the events was very useful, though a couple of improvements would make it even better: it doesn’t show all of the title, so for a long one, you are guessing what the topic was (the full title was in the Viking Daily news sheet). It would be nice if it showed events around the current time rather than always from the start of the day. But those quibbles aside, this was a great and very useful app.
Had a wonderful time
Never been in a cruise before, never wanted to go on a cruise but... the only way to go to alaska was on a cruise or on the train so we chose the cruise. The Viking experience was amazing! Totally spoilt from start to finish. Check in at port was so easy, the welcome on board was something else ( as John Denver was so fond of saying “far out!”).
We had an amazing adventure.
The Viking Daily is such a lovely touch, explaining where we would be that day and introducing us to the staff.
The staff are so friendly and really go out of their way to make the cruise experience “far out”!
So spoilt, would never choose a different cruise line to explore the world with.
I hope you enjoy your adventure as much as we did it is something we will remember for the rest of our lives.
Gaga was amazing and a special thank you to him for looking after us so well.
